1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Squish ("Service"), operated by 5249 s. r. o., a company registered in Slovakia (IČO: 54227305, DIČ: 2121604199, IČ DPH: SK2121604199), with registered office at Blumentálska 7881/23, 811 07 Bratislava, Slovakia, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

Squish provides image compression services via a web interface and REST API. The service allows users to compress images in various formats (JPEG, PNG, WebP) and access compressed images via CDN URLs.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are in USD. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard.

  • Free tier: 50 images/month
  • Pro: $9/month - 2,000 images/month
  • Team: $39/month - 10,000 images/month
  • Enterprise: $99/month - 100,000 images/month

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of images you upload. We do not claim any rights to your content. Images are processed in memory and deleted immediately after compression (unless using CDN storage).

7. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bratislava, Slovakia.
